Bush transmits Cape Town Financing Accord To Senate
The fate of the Cape Town Convention is now in the hands of the U Senate. President Bush transmitted the treaty to the Senate upon Nov. 9 for its ratification.
The Cape Town Convention is a commercial treaty negotiated in November 2001 subject to the guidance of the Rome-based International Institute for Unification of Private Law. The goal of the treaty is to create a uniform commercial digest governing the financing of aircraft
